A fifteen-year-old boy has been punished to life behind bars with a minimum period of 16 years for the murder of another pupil the victim during a lunch period.
The defendant knifed the deceased, who was also 15 years old, through the chest with a large blade at Sheffield's learning facility in the second month.
The judge lifted the anonymity order on the defendant during sentencing at the judicial building.

"You were the aggressor and... you proceeded in hurt and anger at what you regarded to be his betrayal of your friendship," stated the judge during sentencing.
The educational institution published a message conveying that the pupil was "deeply remembered every day by the entire learning environment".
